Our very own dream home at the Hanging Gardens in Hebbal, Bangalore

After dodging him successfully for several days, my landlord finally managed to catch me at home, one rueful Saturday morning. As previously suspected, he informed my family that he intended onincreasing the rent once more. So we had two clear choices, either we coughed up the quite extortionate rent, or we cleared out. Not intending on paying so much in rent, my wife and I trudged on, and looked for other rented homes nearby. The rent rates seemed to have all increased in the area, and we finally understood why our own landlord was keen on upping his rent rates as well. We were as excited as little kids would be on Christmas Eve, and eventually got down to doing some sums regarding our finances and such. Soon we came to the conclusion that we could indeed go ahead and purchase one of these luxury flats in Hebbal. Steadying ourselves, for we could hardly believe that we were actually doing this, we went ahead and booked a magnificent 2 BHK apartment at the Hanging Gardens. On hindsight, it was a very valid decision, and one of the best we have ever made in our lifetimes.
